This is where you first met your first love or turned into the public enemy. This is where you saw the good and the bad in individuals. Probably, the first time you met your best friends too.

Frankly saying, we can’t plan to meet good people only and dispel the bad ones from disturbing our balance. The best way is to be selective by knowing the type of people in our workplace. Check the following types, maybe we are one of them but didn’t recognize it yet.

  1. The social butterfly
Every day is fashion. These people always come to the office with style and bathed with perfume so you can even smell them a kilometers away. Despite their appearance, they also tend to suck up everyone for a higher position. Well, they still need money to cover up their hedonism.
  2. The sleeping dragon
Don’t ever awaken the sleeping dragon. No, it isn’t a slogan from a famous movie but it is true. The dragon is someone looks very calm outside but once they’re triggered, everyone near them can be their target of rage. These people are a type of getting work done without any interruption. Some of this type is a loner kind and they are happy to stay in that zone, just like a dragon that lives a solitary life.
  3. The happiest rabbit
Who doesn’t like rabbits? If you found someone who is very enthusiastic day by day, talkative, and always cheerful then this is them. Likes joking around and easily going wherever you ask them, from hanging out in a cafe to karaoke. But one thing should you know, the happiest is always the saddest. They’re just being happy as a camouflage for their sorrow.
  4. The all-seeing chameleon
There’s one essential rule in every office: do not trust anybody because even walls have eyes and ears. And one of the reasons is the existence of the all-seeing chameleon. This type is the library of gossip in the office. They knew every drama on every episode around. Don’t worry if you missed one, they are ready to help you catch up. Unfortunately, they are standing in the grey zone, they share the information if you have something in return.
  5. The virtuous turtle
A virtuous turtle is someone who works longer than everyone. It makes him a part of the history of the company. He is the wisest of all and the most loyal member. He can give you advice for supporting your performance.

That’s all the five types of people in the workplace.

This is all taken from the author’s personal experience. Which one is you?
